Portland hit a record breaking high this week – 107 degrees. That is hot! Many Portlanders, including us, left the city and headed out to the coast, where it was at least 20 degrees cooler. I’ve never seen the beach that crowded before!! The boys had a great time finding seashells, catching fish and playing in the sand with the other kids.
Then today the boys and I walked over to the park and met our friends, Jenn and her son, James. Jonah played with some other kids on the playground while Jaden took responsibility for watching James. We all visited a free butterfly pavilion and community garden before heading back home.
