Halloween!

We had such a great Halloween this year.  Jaden dressed up as a bunch of spilled spaghetti and meatballs and Jonah dressed up as a cool cowboy.  Around 4pm, we headed down to the Gresham Town Center and let the boys trick or treat from the local businesses there.  Then we went out to dinner at Baja Fresh – yum!  Finally, we headed on over to Central Bible Church for their annual Candy Land, which we go to every year.  It is an indoor kid’s carnival with plenty of fun games, candy, a costume contest and even a bounce house.  In Portland, you never know what the weather will be like on Halloween, so we really like that everything is indoors, and it’s safe.  Anyhow, Jonah has won the costume contest for the past 2 years (once for his own rendition of Super-Cow and once for being a homemade house!), but this year was Jaden’s year – he won the prize!!  Click on the pictures below…

About Anna

I've been married to my college sweetheart for 17 years and we've been in full or part time ministry ever since. I am a stay at home mom who homeschools our oldest son (11) while our youngest son (9) attends public school. Having adopted both our kids, we are big fans of adoption. My oldest has Asperger's Syndrome and my youngest has been diagnosed with a mood disorder, possibly bi-polar. I also have two long-haired dachshunds that I adore - Eli and Graham. I enjoy camping, watching movies, listening to and singing all types of music, and just spending time together with my precious family.

I went back to see the ‘Super Cow’ costume and that is also one original costume!  I also noticed how much the boys have grown!
