My big boy turned 8 on the 3rd of this month. He is such a fun boy and had a great birthday.
He basically chose to have a dessert for breakfast – “Pear Slump”. It’s kind-of like a cobbler.
Then we hung out here at home and played some family games – card games, a Star Wars game.
For lunch, Jaden chose to go to the same Mexican restaurant that Jonah chose for his birthday. I think that he just wanted the cool hat! My parents came along with several friends from church to celebrate with him. The service was extremely slow, but we all had a great time.
After lunch, we took Jaden to play Laser Tag. The boys had such a blast! I couldn’t get a good picture of them in their gear…but here’s one that was taken right before they began playing. They are holding their passes to play.
The boys also played some cool arcade games.
Later that afternoon, we went home and Jaden blew out the candles on his cake, opened presents and played! One of these photos is of him holding his favorite gift – The Dangerous Book for Boys. It’s full of cool stuff, like how to make a paper airplane…how to make a battery…etc.
Jaden Christopher – we are so proud of you! May your 8th year be filled with love, joy and the many blessing of Christ! We love you.
It doesn’t seem possible that Jaden is 8. The pear slump looks good.
