I have been hearing about a cleanse called The Water Cure for several years now, and a few weeks ago decided to give it a try. It involves drinking half of your body weight in ounces each day. This should be divided into several 8 oz. glasses and for each quart you should add 1/4 teaspoon of Celtic Sea Salt. The water should also be free of flouride and chlorine. It’s supposed to be great for weight loss and general health. I’m not trying to lose weight, but I am trying to get healthier…and I’ve already seen a huge difference in my emotions and energy levels. I definitely already feel better.
So, for me, I weigh 128, so I need to drink 64 ounces of water every day. I fill 1 quart canning jar with filtered water plus 1/4 t. celtic sea salt and drink 2 of these daily. At first, it was really hard to drink because of the salt, but now “regular water” tastes odd and this tastes refreshing. And I should warn you that if you try this, you’ll be making lots of trips to the bathroom at first…and you’ll be going both ways. But I encourage you to stick it out and soon you’ll be feeling so much better and, if needed, losing weight, too.
I’d be curious about how it works for others. For senior citizens like me, I would be liviing in the bathroom day and night. Love, grandpa
Do you do this for a certain number of days or is this a from now on thing? Love, Mamaw
My desk is too far from the bathroom. I’d never make it.
