Time flies

I was looking back through our online photos last night and found some great ones of the boys when they were 1 and 3.  (When we got our first digital camera!)  They were taken around 5 years ago which is right when we moved from Texas to Oregon.  It seems like it was just yesterday… yet forever ago.   So much has happened since then.  I miss the time when the boys were so young and cute and took naps!!   (Click on the photos to see the full picture – I couldn’t get some of the thumbnails to work properly!)

My boys are quite the handful, each with their unique stuggles, and I do grow weary of the responsibilies that the Lord has chosen to bestow upon us, but I couldn’t be more thankful, and proud of the fine young men that they are becoming.

About Anna

I've been married to my college sweetheart for 17 years and we've been in full or part time ministry ever since. I am a stay at home mom who homeschools our oldest son (11) while our youngest son (9) attends public school. Having adopted both our kids, we are big fans of adoption. My oldest has Asperger's Syndrome and my youngest has been diagnosed with a mood disorder, possibly bi-polar. I also have two long-haired dachshunds that I adore - Eli and Graham. I enjoy camping, watching movies, listening to and singing all types of music, and just spending time together with my precious family.

Oh sweet Anna!  You are such a good mamma!  The Lord has really blessed Jaden and Jonah.

Love these pictures. I remember meeting the boys for the first time around this age while I was watching kids behind the wilcox house during a staff meeting. I don’t think Jonah said a word the whole time but I thought they were about the most adorable boys ever. I agree they are lucky to have such a sacrificing mama.

I remember the Christmas Jonah received his riding toy. And Jonah’s birthday party at our house. What fun we had!
