I tried the recipe with baking soda and arrowroot powder and I thought it gave great coverage (as in absolutely no stink at the end of a sweaty day) but it made my armpits all red, itchy, and sore after a few days. Now I can't even use it for one day without breaking out. So I just use plain coconut oil which I think works fairly well, though I notice a mild 'body scent' at the end of the day if we're really active. I don't think it is particularly unpleasant though, especially if we're eating well.
