Last Saturday morning, our family had to say goodbye to Fermin. On the previous Friday evening, all of the exchange students hosted a traditional Basque dinner for all of the host families. It was super-yummy!

There was an open-mic time so that students or their families could share. Jaden decided that he wanted to say something, but once he got up there he whispered what he wanted to say to Scott and then Scott spoke into the microphone for him. Later in the evening, Jaden got up to the mic again and this time he spoke from 1-5 in the Basque language!
We love you, Fermin, and we miss you a lot!
