So much is going on that I don’t quite know where to start! Business is going well. I’m enjoying getting out to market every Saturday. The people are fun to interact with and I have received some great feedback on my products. I’ve decided to add a couple of new fragrances to my soaps and lotion bars – one will be a citrus blend called Energize and the other will be a lemongrass blend called Purity. They should be ready by the middle of April.
On a sad note, we had to return our golden retriever puppy, Dusty, to the breeder. He was displaying a great deal of aggression towards us and we were working with the vet to help correct this behavior. After several behavioral consultations, the vet recommended that we take him back. It was SO hard, especially on Jaden, and the house feels so different without Dusty here. The breeder has been wonderful through it all, and our prayer is that they will be able to work with Dusty so that he might make someone else a good pet one day. Because of this experience, I’m feeling very uncertain about getting another Golden…maybe a smaller dog. We’ll see.
And to end this post with…we are moving out of our home of 3 years into another home that is a little bit north of here. The new home will fit our families needs much better and we are all really excited about it. We’ll be moving on the 12th of April, so I’m currently working on packing up! Not much fun, but it’s good to get organized and get rid of the junk as I pack up the rest. So between homeschooling, packing, church activities and the business, things are quite busy around the Olson household!!
