Last Saturday morning, our family had to say goodbye to Fermin. On the previous Friday evening, all of the exchange students hosted a traditional Basque dinner for all of the host families. It was super-yummy! Fermin serving us dinner. No – Jonah is just pretending to be asleep! There was an open-mic [...] Our entire family went with Fermin to the zoo yesterday. It was a lot of walking, so we rented a wheelchair for me which helped my knee tremendously! Here are some photos of a pair of eagles, a bear, a giraffe and a leopard. And here’s some photos of the boys petting a [...] Scott took Fermin, Jaden and Jonah to see their first professional baseball game this past weekend. They all enjoyed it very much! Fermin has enjoyed lots of trampoline time with the boys. Today Itor, another Basque student, spent part of the day with our family. We went to a local swimming pool, ate enchiladas at a Mexican restaurant and went to a movie. [...] |
