Today was the first day of school!! Jaden is now in the 3rd grade and Jonah is in 1st. We started a new curriculum this year called My Father’s World. So far, I have been very impressed with it. And for me the true test has been that for the first time ever Jonah [...] Jonah loves to do artwork…especially painting of any kind. For Christmas, the boys got giftcards to Border’s Bookstore and Jonah went straight for the kid’s craft section of the store. He chose a nice 21 color Watercolor Set and a Glass Stone Art Kit. Today during school he has been happily painting away. [...] Jaden (6) has always been messy. His room is a mess, his table manners are really awful, his drawings are more like scribblings and his handwriting is pretty much unreadable to everyone but me. He knows it and he doesn’t like it.
