Today was the first day of school for the boys. Jaden is now a 5th grader and Jonah is now a 3rd grader. It has an awesome sunny area out back for our vegetable garden (which I’m planning on expanding next spring!) and it has such an awesome kitchen. (How many times can I say the word “awesome”?? Apparently [...] Jaden is having a school Valentine’s party on Friday. He is super excited about it! But parties can often times be frustrating for him because there are so many sweets available that he is unable to eat. This past week, I’ve been experimenting with some recipes and have found a terrific one for chocolate [...] Portland hit a record breaking high this week – 107 degrees. That is hot! Many Portlanders, including us, left the city and headed out to the coast, where it was at least 20 degrees cooler. I’ve never seen the beach that crowded before!! The boys had a great time finding seashells, catching fish and [...] This morning, Jonah was trying out some new breakdancing moves on the trampoline. Jaden went out back to join him and soon after Jonah came inside all upset because Jaden said that he wasn’t doing it right. Scott: Jonah, because you and Jaden are brothers, you will always want to compete with each other. [...] |
