And it was done with glow-in-the-dark paint, so you can just imagine the fun that the boys had with that last night.

The husband dresses up as Buzz Light Year and makes balloon animals for the kids. The wife dresses up as a Fairy Princess and does face painting for the kids. Last Thursday, the boys brought their own money so that they could tip the couple! Jaden got a cool balloon snake.

I had tried to get into this market mid-season last year but they weren’t accepting new vendors at that time. Anyhow, now I’ll be at both the Fairview Market on Thursdays from 4-8pm and at the Gresham Market on Saturdays from 8:30-2:00.

This time of year has now become my favorite time of year. Here in Oregon, the leaves change colors, fall off of the trees and crunch under your feet. The days are cool and when the sun is shining, it’s just gorgeous. It’s scarf weather…boot weather. It’s time to start warming the [...]]]> Happy October! This time of year has now become my favorite time of year. Here in Oregon, the leaves change colors, fall off of the trees and crunch under your feet. The days are cool and when the sun is shining, it’s just gorgeous. It’s scarf weather…boot weather. It’s time to start warming the house with the woodstove. Halloween is just around the corner, followed by Thanksgiving. Pumpkin pies. I love this time of year.

I was planning on taking a photo of my booth…but it’s rained the last two Thursdays at market. Not good picture weather. Perhaps this week the weather will cooperate! I’m stocking up for several holiday shows – a couple in November and a couple in December. One of the shows is called, “Every Husband’s Nightmare”. Too funny.

New Baskets

Each tier of 3 baskets is about 3 feet high and each basket will hold a lot of product. At next week’s market, I’ll take a picture of my booth and post it here for you to see.

While I’m at it, here’s a photo of some shelves in my office. After the soaps have cured, I wrap them up and store them here. My office smells really yummy! :-)
