Anna started making shaving soap for me (Anna's husband). I had been using conventional shaving gels which are completely packed with artificial scents, colors, and who knows what other chemicals. So, because of chemical sensitivity, my boys couldn't be in the bathroom when I shaved (maybe this is a man thing). So, Anna whips out a recipe for Shaving soap and puts the Rustic scent in it to make me feel manly. I've been using the shaving soap with the shaving brush for 4-5 months at this point and it is incredible. It lathers up incredibly well in my beard. Also, I have sensitive skin and have used all the "sensitive" formulas out there to keep my face knick and rash free without success. However, my wife's shaving soap does a much better job at preventing knicks, rashes, and razor burn. Lastly, it has cut my shave time down to about 5 minutes (from 15-20 minutes) and I get an awesome, close shave that leaves my face smelling great without the use of aftershaves (again - full of artificial everything and chemicals). I wrote the instructions on the label myself after using it for many months. For best results I shave my complete face 2x: the 1st time I lather up and shave with upstrokes, the 2nd time I lather up and shave with downstrokes.
